Jennifer Neil holds a Master's Degree in School Counseling, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and a Minor in Music. Her music studies have enabled her to sing in various choirs and vocal jazz ensembles in Bakersfield, at CSU Chico, and at the University of Northern Colorado.

Ms. Neil has been a frequent contributor to the local music and theater community through performances with Ovation Theatre, The Bakersfield Jazz Workshop, the Bakersfield Jazz Festival, and others. She especially enjoys jazz and improvisation.

She is currently a junior high school intervention counselor and resides in Bakersfield with her husband, Jim Scully, and their three children, Aidan, Maxwell, and Dylan.
